Description

In the Defense environment, you will design the digital transformation with a focus on AI- and data-driven architectures for the Bundeswehr, authorities, and the defense industry. You will take design ownership for complex systems using cloud, data, and AI technologies and lead architects and development teams to deliver viable solutions. You will also support PreSales and bid activities with architecture and defense expertise while actively contributing to an international architecture community.

Responsibilities

• Design modern IT and AI-driven architectures in transformation and software projects in the Defense environment
• Own the design for complex systems using cloud, data, and AI technologies
• Provide technical leadership to architects and developer teams; ensure sustainable, workable solutions
• Support PreSales and proposal activities with architecture and Defense expertise
• Build and maintain networks in the Defense environment and exchange with peers on trends such as AI, Data, and Security

Requirements

• Multi-year experience in IT projects (e.g., IT/Solution Architect or Software Developer)
• Defense/armed-forces experience; ideally with an existing network
• Experience in designing or deploying AI/Data solutions
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working, plus strong communication and persuasion skills
• Completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, STEM) or equivalent qualification
• Very good German and English skills
• Willingness to travel
