Description

The Senior Infrastructure Architect designs and oversees enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role covers compute, storage, virtualization, networking, workplace infrastructure, identity, and core infrastructure services, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with technology strategy. You will also support Microsoft Dynamics 365 infrastructure rollouts and provide technical direction through transformation and migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise infrastructure architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Define infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps
• Design solutions for compute, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, identity, and core infrastructure services
• Ensure security, availability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Produce HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation
• Assess current environments and identify gaps, risks, and modernization opportunities
• Provide technical direction for infrastructure transformation, migration, and integration
• Support Dynamics 365 infrastructure requirements and troubleshooting during rollouts
• Lead hybrid infrastructure design across public cloud and on-premises environments (including Azure)
• Define connectivity and integration between cloud and on-premises environments
• Lead architecture for migrations, consolidations, carve-outs, and M&A integration
• Translate business and application needs into practical infrastructure solutions and guide project teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, engineering, or senior infrastructure roles
• Strong experience designing enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
• Proven breadth across compute, storage, virtualization, backup/disaster recovery, identity/directory services, networking/connectivity, cloud infrastructure, and workplace/end-user infrastructure
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure transformation, migration, and integration projects
• Experience producing architecture documentation, HLDs/LLDs, infrastructure assessments, and technical roadmaps
• Strong Microsoft infrastructure knowledge: Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365
• Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud architecture experience
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and connectivity dependencies
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Knowledge of enterprise storage and backup technologies
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity architectures
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation
• Understanding of IT service management and operational requirements
