Description

The Infrastructure Architecture team acts as the bridge between application development teams and the underlying technology and infrastructure groups. As a Senior Infrastructure Architect, you will lead architectural decisions, mentor junior architects, and advise senior stakeholders on complex, cross-domain topics while helping shape the long-term technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural leadership on strategic topics and collaborate with infrastructure teams, application solution architects, and lead developers

• Lead onboarding of complex, high-impact application projects: assess ecosystem impact, define target architecture, and drive related technology changes to completion

• Partner with infrastructure teams to introduce and industrialize new technologies, including multi-domain impact analysis, planning, and follow-up

• Publish technology roadmaps (lifecycle, rationalization, end-of-life) and drive strategic decisions on adoption, consolidation, and retirement

• Define reference architectures, detailed patterns, and standards; ensure adoption across application and infrastructure teams

• Serve as a senior point of contact for application teams—understand needs, anticipate future requirements, identify structural improvements, and align with technology support teams

• Identify dependencies and plan upgrades, migrations, and large-scale transformations of critical technologies

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Middleware, Database, and other Core IT teams to align roadmaps, priorities, and governance

• Mentor and coach junior architects and graduates; review their work and build overall team capability

• Represent the team in governance bodies, technology review boards, and senior stakeholder discussions

• Contribute to continuous improvement of the team’s ways of working, tools, and frameworks

Requirements

• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken), with comfort communicating with senior stakeholders

• Several years of proven experience as an IT architect in complex enterprise environments

• Strong analytical mindset for investigating facts, cross-checking from multiple angles, and uncovering root causes

• Broad hands-on knowledge of modern IT technologies and infrastructure (cloud and on-premises)

• Ability to think in use cases and capabilities and distill principles/patterns to organize large technology landscapes

• Strong ownership to drive end-to-end topics across multiple teams with minimal guidance

• Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced colleagues

• AI-minded approach—use AI actively to accelerate learning, analysis, and delivery
