Description

You will manage and continuously develop a hospital information system (KIS) and connected clinical applications. You’ll support users across medicine, nursing, and administration, analyze issues and requirements, and drive improvements through tests, updates, releases, and rollouts. Experience with any KIS is welcome (e.g., ORBIS, iMedOne, CGM, NEXUS, i.s.h.med, Meierhofer), as long as you can bridge IT and hospital processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, administer, and further develop the KIS and connected clinical applications
• Support users from medicine, nursing, and administration with questions, disruptions, and optimization requests
• Analyze errors and requirements; develop solutions and coordinate tests, updates, releases, and rollouts
• Analyze clinical and administrative processes and support their digitization and optimization
• Work closely with internal specialist departments, IT colleagues, software manufacturers, and external service providers

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in IT, computer science, medical, or health-related fields (or comparable qualification)
• Practical experience with a KIS and knowledge of hospital workflows
• Ideally: experience in application management, administration, or support of clinical IT systems
• Solution-oriented approach and ability to explain technical matters to medical and non-technical users
• Structured, independent, service-oriented working style and interest in continuous improvement of applications and processes
