Description

Lead the Microsoft 365 Copilot vision, readiness, deployment, and adoption of AI-powered productivity for a national retail organization in Canada. Define the Copilot roadmap, ensure data and governance readiness, build organizational capability, and drive measurable business value and ROI. Bridge corporate teams and frontline workers while making technology architecture decisions within a mature Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Power Platform).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Microsoft 365 Copilot roadmap across the organization
• Assess data and governance readiness to support Copilot deployment
• Build organizational capability and drive Copilot adoption across corporate and frontline teams
• Bridge corporate and frontline worker needs to align Copilot capabilities with business goals
• Lead technology architecture decisions within the Microsoft ecosystem to support Copilot readiness
• Establish governance frameworks to support secure and compliant Copilot usage
• Drive measurable business value and ROI from Copilot deployment
• Act as a subject matter expert on Copilot vision, deployment, and adoption strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with M365 architecture at enterprise scale (tenant administration, Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive)
• Understanding of Microsoft Graph and Semantic Index, including how Copilot grounds responses and how data flows
• Knowledge of information governance using Microsoft Purview (sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention, permissions models)
• Familiarity with Entra ID and security practices (Conditional Access, access reviews, oversharing audits, Zero Trust awareness)
• Experience with Copilot Studio (custom agents, plugins, connectors, GPT-based declarative agents)
• Skills in Power Platform (Power Automate and Copilot integration, Power Apps, retail-relevant dataflows)
• Background in SharePoint and content architecture (taxonomy, metadata, content lifecycle management)
• Familiarity with Viva Suite (Viva Learning, Viva Connections, Viva Engage), especially for frontline engagement
• Proficiency with adoption and measurement tools (Copilot Dashboard, Viva Insights, adoption scoring, ROI frameworks)
• Understanding of Copilot licensing models and Microsoft roadmap literacy
• English proficiency at B2+ level
