Description

You will lead Microsoft 365 Copilot vision, readiness, deployment, and adoption for AI-powered productivity across a national retail organization in Canada. The role bridges corporate teams and frontline workers by defining the Copilot roadmap, ensuring data/governance readiness, building organizational capability, and driving measurable business value. You will also make technology architecture decisions within a mature Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Power Platform).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Microsoft 365 Copilot roadmap across the organization

• Assess data and governance readiness to support Copilot deployment

• Build organizational capability and drive Copilot adoption across corporate and frontline teams

• Bridge corporate and frontline needs; align Copilot capabilities with business goals

• Lead technology architecture decisions in the Microsoft ecosystem to support Copilot readiness

• Establish governance frameworks for secure and compliant Copilot usage

• Drive measurable business value and ROI from Copilot deployment

• Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 Copilot vision, deployment, and adoption strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years of M365 architecture experience including enterprise tenant administration, Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive

• Understanding of Microsoft Graph and Semantic Index, including how Copilot grounds responses and how data flows

• Knowledge of information governance: Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention, and permissions models

• Familiarity with Entra ID security practices: Conditional Access, access reviews, oversharing audits, and Zero Trust

• Experience with Copilot Studio, including custom agents, plugins, connectors, and GPT-based declarative agents

• Power Platform skills: Power Automate and Copilot integration, Power Apps, and dataflows relevant to retail operations

• Background in SharePoint and content architecture: taxonomy, metadata, and content lifecycle management

• Familiarity with Viva Suite: Viva Learning, Viva Connections, Viva Engage, especially for frontline engagement

• Proficiency in adoption and measurement tools: Copilot Dashboard, Viva Insights, adoption scoring, and ROI frameworks

• Licensing and roadmap fluency: M365 Copilot licensing models and Microsoft roadmap literacy

• English proficiency at B2+ level
