Description

Design, implement, and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms for production WMS applications. Ensure stability, performance, and reliability by proactively identifying and resolving root causes of incidents. Deliver business requirements using standard warehouse solutions, drive automated testing/deployment/validation, and contribute to regional and global WMS standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms for WMS platforms

• Proactively identify and resolve root causes of production incidents to ensure stability, performance, and reliability

• Collaborate with IT and business departments to deliver business requirements using standard warehouse solutions; identify gaps and enhancements

• Conduct IT Solution Reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and reuse of existing components

• Implement and promote automated testing, deployment, and validation practices for WMS solutions

• Drive continuous improvement of standard warehouse solutions for faster, more predictable rollouts across regional sites

• Contribute to regional and global WMS standards with global/regional IT teams

• Maintain and enhance WMS and surrounding applications with focus on standardization, code reusability, and clear documentation

• Research and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity, system efficiency, and business value in the WMS domain

• Collaborate with other departments to deliver scalable, secure, future-ready WMS capabilities

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain–related IT roles

• Mandatory experience with Warehouse management solution: Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and PL/SQL

• Knowledge of infrastructure landscapes and proficiency with Unix/Linux commands

• Expertise in Shell scripting

• Ability to understand, formulate, and challenge functional specifications

• Superior practical application and API/solution design skills; programming background in C# or Java or Python

• Proven ability to integrate WMS with external applications via APIs/Web services

• Thoroughness in system design and system testing with a minimum supervision

• Experience in the supply chain domain and project implementation

Nice to have

• Experience setting up and maintaining pipeline scripts (e.g., Jenkins/Groovy)

• Cloud-native common platform tools and microservices

• Knowledge working with different 3rd-party software providers

• Understanding of system lifecycle across functional/technical solution design and architecture design
