Description

Own and operate the Checkmarx application security platform, acting as the technical go-to for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. You will manage configuration, handle upgrades and maintenance, investigate user-reported issues, and troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines. You will also respond to operational incidents, contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution, and support scan integration improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage central platform configuration and ensure smooth day-to-day operations

• Perform upgrades and maintenance for reliable platform performance

• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users

• Troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines

• Handle operational incidents, including recovery efforts

• Coordinate with vendors on issues, feature requests, and timelines; participate in vendor meetings and escalate critical issues

• Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution: bug fixes and development of new features

• Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations

• Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features

• Evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans

• Validate vendor fixes and patches before production deployment and provide feedback for product roadmap discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years administering and operating application security platforms such as Checkmarx

• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, including scan execution and integration troubleshooting

• Experience with the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development

• Vendor management experience, including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines

• Background in operational incident handling and recovery processes

• Understanding of platform administration, including configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance

• Ability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate their adoption
