Description

Build and modernize AI-ready data pipelines and applications across diverse client domains. Implement data ingestion from multiple source types, transform and validate data using Spark/Databricks and cloud services, and optimize data retrieval and dashboards. Contribute to next-wave AI adoption by implementing agentic development environments, while ensuring data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data from diverse sources (RDBMS, REST HTTP API, flat files, streams, time series, SAP research)

• Process and transform data using Spark, Databricks, and various cloud services

• Implement agentic development environments for upcoming AI adoption waves

• Execute project-specific business logic using the primary data platform’s supported programming languages

• Optimize data retrieval, develop dashboards, and perform data validation

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT professionals

• Provide thought leadership on Data Software Engineering best practices and technology trends

• Maintain and ensure integrity and security of data sources and platforms

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade data systems and applications

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development with Data Software Engineering technologies

• Advanced Python

• Spark and Databricks proficiency

• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform

• Experience with AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)

• Strong understanding of JSON, Parquet, and Avro

• Hands-on with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra and MongoDB

• Data warehousing and ETL process knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and strong problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices

• English communication skills (B2+)
