Description

Join as a Senior AI Data Software Engineer to design and implement end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and validation across diverse client domains. You will work with Spark/Databricks and cloud services, optimize data retrieval for dashboards, and support next waves of AI adoption through agentic development environments.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data from RDBMS, REST HTTP APIs, flat files, streams, and time series data (including SAP sources)

• Process and transform data using Spark, Databricks, and cloud services

• Implement project-specific business logic using programming languages supported by the primary data platform

• Optimize data retrieval, develop dashboards, and perform data validation

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and IT professionals

• Share thought leadership on data software engineering best practices and technology trends

• Maintain data integrity and security across sources and platforms

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade data systems and applications

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience in Data Software Engineering

• Advanced knowledge of Python

• Proficiency with Spark and Databricks

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Confidence using AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)

• Strong understanding of data formats: JSON, Parquet, Avro

• Hands-on SQL and NoSQL database experience including Cassandra and MongoDB

• Proficiency in data warehousing solutions and ETL processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field

• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English (B2+)
