Description

Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise for datacenter delivery of business operations programs. Assist with quarterly spend management reviews, maintenance and repair tracking, supplier contract operations, and regional financial planning. Drive end-to-end continuous improvement initiatives, automation programs, and cost-saving projects while aligning datacenter field operations with global business operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise for datacenter-centric service delivery
• Solve complex challenges between remote and onsite support personnel
• Prepare quarterly spend management review materials at datacenter site and regional level
• Track datacenter Maintenance and Repair activities
• Create and manage end-to-end planning and implementation of continuous improvement, automation, and programs
• Manage supplier contracts end to end (procurement engagement, cost/terms negotiations, contracting, change orders, scorecards, recurring business reviews)
• Support organizational financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
• Evaluate cost savings opportunities and implement strategic projects to realize savings
• Spread adoption of best practices using local subject matter expert knowledge
• Identify opportunities to increase agility and contribute to workstreams evolving processes, services, and Operations/Service Level Agreements
• Coordinate closely between datacenter field operations teams and Global Business Operations
• Work independently in a remote workplace setting

Requirements

• High school qualification or equivalent AND 6+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology, or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to meet Microsoft/customer/government security screening requirements; pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
• Ability to work independently in a remote workplace setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Technical College degree in relevant fields (or equivalent) plus 12+ years in critical environment infrastructures (UPS, generator, AHU) or physical IT infrastructures (servers, SANs, networking, capacity, DC rack/enclosures, structured cabling)
• Certifications such as APICS/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, network certifications, CCNA, ITIL v3 Foundation, Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF)
• 12+ years of relevant finance, planning, or analysis work with demonstrated analytical foundation
• Background supporting AI
• Demonstrated skills with PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI
• Experience in driver-based cost analysis
