Description

Lead the IT Operations expert team (Windows, Linux, networking) in the Platform Operations Center (2nd Level) and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of customer IT infrastructures. Manage staffing and utilization, plan and control IT projects for business customers, and drive strategic development of the team’s competencies and solution portfolio. Proactively support sales in pre-sales meetings with technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Disciplinary and technical leadership of the expert team (Windows, Linux, network) in the Platform Operations Center (2nd Level)
• Ensure reliable operation of customers’ IT infrastructures
• Responsible for personnel scheduling and economical utilization of the area
• Plan, monitor, and steer IT projects in the business customer environment
• Strategic development of the competency and solution portfolio and future-oriented team expansion
• Proactive sales support in pre-sales meetings and technical consultation of customers

Requirements

• Multi-year experience in disciplinary and technical leadership of IT Operations teams
• Successfully completed technical degree or comparable IT education
• Familiarity with managed services and hosting of customer IT infrastructure, including technical and business contexts
• Strong communication, hands-on mentality, and entrepreneurial thinking
• Fluent German and good English
• Driver’s license class B (for occasional customer visits)
