Description

You will build AI systems that act as teammates rather than tools, starting in a lab environment and then deploying into an Applied AI product team until customers use it. You will implement the experiments designed by an Applied Scientist, turn results into working software, and own adoption by measuring and reporting impact. The work is web-frontend leaning, with extension to native mobile, voice, and other modalities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build AI teammate capabilities in the Lab from thesis to working product following the Humorphism philosophy
• Implement experiments and convert research results into working software
• Deploy into product teams, collaborate closely, and drive capabilities into their products
• Own adoption by measuring, reporting, and staying until customers use the capability
• Identify where the work breaks down in host teams and correct root causes
• Partner with UX designers and product teams to deliver complete humorphic experiences
• Transfer architecture and scaling to the product team with documentation and tests
• Contribute to a shared humorphic layer for future capabilities
• Learn new languages/runtimes/domains as required; write tested code and operate what the Lab runs
• Review code of others, present work, and participate in internal reviews

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design/architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling)
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience with the full software development life cycle (standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations)
• Experience building complex software systems delivered to customers
