Description

Design and build AI-powered developer tools and platform capabilities that improve developer productivity across software development, testing, debugging, delivery, and operations. Prototype and evaluate emerging AI technologies (LLMs, AI agents, reasoning/context and retrieval techniques, evaluation systems, and intelligent automation), then take successful ideas from design through production. Own substantial components end-to-end, collaborating across engineering and AI/ML teams, and improve quality and reliability using automated evaluation and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered developer tools and platform capabilities across the developer lifecycle
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies by building prototypes, evaluating models and agentic approaches, and validating hypotheses
• Develop production services integrating LLMs, AI agents, context and retrieval systems, tool integrations, orchestration, evaluation, and intelligent automation
• Own the engineering lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, observability, operations, and continuous improvement
• Work effectively in ambiguous problem spaces by decomposing broad problems into tractable engineering work
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions to deliver scalable, extensible, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions
• Build mechanisms to evaluate AI-powered experiences using automated evaluation, telemetry, experimentation, and developer feedback
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end developer experiences
• Investigate complex issues across distributed systems and AI components and implement durable solutions
• Support engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring
