Description

You will develop Developer Experience as an internal product layer between Platform Engineering and engineering teams. The mission is to build self-service, well-documented, secure internal products supported by AI, helping developers use platform capabilities independently through standards, CI/CD, automation, documentation, templates, and tools. You will also create recommended developer workflows and design AI-assisted engineering standards with safe processes for code, documentation, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve self-service tools for developer teams

• Convert Platform Engineering capabilities into simple, consistent, ready-to-use internal products

• Create recommended paths/workflows for common developer scenarios

• Develop a developer portal, service catalog, templates, documentation, and integrations

• Design automation, generators, workflows, and tools that support daily engineering

• Co-create AI-assisted engineering standards (AI usage rules, prompt templates, safe processes for code and operations)

• Support developer teams in adopting new tools and standards

• Collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, Security, and product teams

• Apply a product approach: gather needs and feedback, iterate, and ensure real usage

Requirements

• Experience building an internal platform product for multiple developer teams (Platform Engineer, DevEx/Ops Engineer, or similar)

• Experience building tools, automation, or self-service solutions for developer teams

• Programming skills for internal tools, integrations, and automation (e.g., Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go)

• Strong AWS cloud understanding

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, deployments, and observability

• Ability to design simple, useful abstractions for developers

• Product approach to internal tools (users, feedback, rollout, iterative value)

• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering or deliberate AI use in engineering work

• Strong technical communication and ability to write clear documentation

• Experience working across multiple technical teams

• English enabling fluent technical communication
