Description

You will design intuitive and accessible interfaces—from user research and prototyping to usability tests and continuing development of a design system. The role involves close collaboration with the technology team to develop and implement the product. You will also contribute to UX/UI and responsive screen design, including dashboards and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research: interviews, consultations, and workshops

• Create information architecture, user flows, use-case scenarios, and user journeys

• Produce low- and high-fidelity mockups and prototypes; design responsive application screens

• Build, develop, and maintain a consistent design system

• Design interfaces according to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines

• Design dashboards and ways to present and visualize data

• Run usability tests and heuristic analyses and prepare product improvement recommendations

• Prepare onboarding, rollout, and project documentation for the developer team

• Work closely with CTO, Full Stack Developer, COO, UAV Pilot, and the broader team during Alpha, internal testing, and pilot phases

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of at least one design/prototyping tool (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or equivalent)

• Experience with User-Centered Design and conducting user research

• Very good knowledge of information architecture, user flows, prototyping, and responsive interface design

• Knowledge of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and building/extending design systems

• Experience designing dashboards and data visualization

• Practical knowledge of usability tests and heuristic analyses

• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and accessible digital interface design principles

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional product/technology teams
