Description

Design end-to-end UX for the AWS Events Mobile App (iOS/Android) and AI-powered experiences for large-scale events. You will prototype rapidly in an ambiguous environment and deliver pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces at scale. You will also design conversational UX for a Concierge AI assistant that supports attendees with recommendations and real-time event help.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design for the mobile app from concept through high-fidelity deliverables
• Create user flows, wireframes, interaction models, and prototypes to communicate design intent to engineering
• Ideate and prototype new app concepts, validate with user research and testing, and iterate toward production readiness
• Own and evolve the mobile design system to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability
• Design conversational UX for a Concierge AI assistant (recommendations, wayfinding, and real-time support) using multi-modal interactions
• Partner with engineers to integrate AI-powered responses into the experience layer
• Concept, prototype, and deliver interactive experiences for re:Invent attendees
• Operate in a startup-speed environment (days, not weeks, from sketch to working prototype)
• Collaborate daily with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations for end-to-end delivery
• Advocate for design quality and accessibility standards; contribute to UX best practices and design reviews
• Translate design intent into actionable specifications and communicate technical trade-offs

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience
• Available online portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
• Experience developing visually polished, engaging, highly fluid UX prototypes (e.g., Figma, Principle, ProtoPie)
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering partners in an agile environment
• Strong understanding of mobile design patterns, iOS/Android conventions, and responsive design principles
