Description

You’ll help audio-visual creators on Herohero grow their audience and build a sustainable, long-term income through subscriptions. The role combines real-world podcast/video creation with expertise in distribution and a strong understanding of how public and paid content reinforce each other—deciding what to share openly, what to place behind a paywall, and how to convert listeners into subscribers and keep them.

Responsibilities

• Prepare creators for launch: set up profiles, pricing, and subscription tiers; help with the first content, audience communication, and paid channel launch

• Conduct reviews of existing profiles: audit where creators lose potential subscribers and revenue; propose specific improvement steps

• Build content strategy: determine what to publish publicly vs. behind a paywall, including frequency and formats

• Work with performance data: track visitor-to-subscriber conversion, churn, and episode performance; recommend changes based on data

• Advise on production and ideally produce: support episode structure, sound and editing, plus visual identity, descriptions, and captions/subtitles (often with external collaborators)

• Create educational materials: guides, case studies, templates, webinars, and workshops

• Provide feedback to the team: what creators lack in the product and what is slowing their growth

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with podcast or video creation (e.g., creator, producer, editor, dramaturg)

• Strong understanding of distribution on podcast platforms and YouTube

• Ability to connect public and paid content and set it up so it supports growth

• Understanding of communities and the subscription business side (pricing, subscription tiers, subscriber benefits, retention beyond one month)

• Excellent Czech communication: can explain complex topics simply, verbally and in writing

• Can communicate sensitive but uncomfortable feedback candidly and respectfully

• Reliable, hard-working, quick, and systematic; keeps clear oversight of active priorities and completes tasks
