Description

This internal-facing role supports a freelancer ecosystem by managing purchase order and service order lifecycles, aligning contracting and onboarding processes, and partnering with HR, Legal, and Finance to enable timely invoicing and payment. You will also serve as the technical owner and super user of the internal POMS platform, improving workflows through automation and clean master data for 4,000+ suppliers/contractors. The position includes operational process optimization and supplier research to support internal team needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create, issue, track, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Service Orders through their full lifecycle

  • Support external workforce enablement by coordinating with HR, Legal, and Finance on contracts, onboarding, and prompt invoicing/payment

  • Identify routine administrative bottlenecks and automate day-to-day operations

  • Maintain accurate master data within POMS for 4,000+ suppliers/contractors

  • Provide technical ownership for POMS: user access, issue resolution, and internal best-practice guidance

  • Proactively improve POMS workflows and integrate automation to scale operations

  • Conduct supplier research and gather references to support internal sourcing needs

  • Analyze benchmark pricing, spend trends, and performance data for strategic sourcing decisions

  • Ensure purchasing, contractor agreements, and procurement workflows align with legal regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in procurement operations, vendor management, or finance

  • Strong office suite skills (Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Docs) and fluency in basic use of AI tools

  • Strong number orientation and high attention to detail for master data management

  • Demonstrated capability to analyze data

  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with HR, Finance, and Legal

  • Self-starter comfortable with routine administrative workflows (POs, contractor onboarding) and eager to improve internal processes and systems
