Description

You will configure and maintain enterprise IT environments, diagnose issues, analyze logs, and automate administrative tasks using Bash. The role also involves working with virtualization, networking, and storage technologies and supporting remote administration and technical collaboration with global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare source environments: configure and set up initial source environments; participate in preparing environments for research testing; ensure base functionality covering automated/manual tests.

  • Verify environment operation: validate correctness of delivered source images; identify configuration issues; collaborate with developers during technical troubleshooting in the scope of test functionality.

  • Technical and development collaboration: participate in daily team tasks, meetings, and reviews; perform tests needed by the PS team; work under guidance from experienced specialists and mentors.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Linux kernel-based systems for administration, diagnostics, and configuration via CLI (including RPM/DEB)

  • Ability to write Bash scripts for automating administrative tasks

  • Knowledge of virtualization environments (preferred: KVM)

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals: LAN, routing, NAT, DNS, basic firewall

  • Knowledge of storage technologies: iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS

  • Ability to work with CLI and perform remote system administration

  • Log analysis and troubleshooting skills

  • English proficiency for documentation and technical communication with international customers
