Description

You will support the administration of secure enterprise network and infrastructure services. The role covers network segmentation and access controls, site-to-site VPN setup and operations, Cisco switch configuration, and the operation of server and VMware virtualization environments, including IT hardware lifecycle planning and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure network segmentation and access controls for firewalls and VLAN/ACL/VRF

• Set up and operate secure site-to-site VPN connections between locations

• Plan, configure, and maintain Cisco network switches

• Operate and administer servers and VMware virtualization environments

• Plan, procure, and refresh IT hardware across its lifecycle

Requirements

• Completed IT-relevant vocational training with several years of relevant experience or a degree in Computer Science or comparable

• Several years of experience administering LAN/WAN/WLAN networks

• Experience configuring and operating network components

• Knowledge of network security, VPN, VLAN, routing, and switching

• Fluent German and English

• Experience working in intercultural settings (preferred)
