Description

Lead engineering teams building AWS Context, a governed knowledge graph that enables AI agents to reason over business data with appropriate governance. You will drive delivery of large-scale, multi-tier web services and ship customer-facing agentic features through fast iteration cycles. The role requires leadership in ambiguity and a bias toward action, including mentoring and scaling engineering effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SDEs building systems processing billions of queries
• Define and develop multi-tier web services
• Drive fast iteration and decision-making based on customer feedback
• Communicate with users and technical stakeholders to shape requirements and technical designs
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach engineers to improve skills and productivity

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams
• 8+ years leading definition and development of multi-tier web services
• Knowledge of end-to-end software/hardware/networks development life cycle practices (coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, live site operations)
