Description

You will shape the architecture of modern business systems, supporting the transformation from monolith to microservices and defining directions for technological development. The role focuses on Java/Spring architecture, migration strategy, architectural standards, technical debt and risk management, and collaboration with developers and analysts. You will also lead architecture workshops, mentoring and code reviews, and support DevOps and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve Java/Spring-based system architecture
• Create migration strategy from monolith to microservices
• Define architectural standards and support their implementation
• Manage technical debt and identify technology risks
• Collaborate with development and analysis teams on solution design
• Lead architecture workshops, mentoring, and code reviews
• Support DevOps and automation initiatives for the production process
• Design and document system and integration architecture
• Analyze and implement new technologies supporting organizational development

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and overseeing system architecture
• Very good knowledge of Java and Spring Framework
• Experience designing scalable, secure, fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Practical knowledge of architectural and integration patterns
• Hands-on experience with cloud solutions and infrastructure automation
• Ability to perform code reviews, mentor, and run technical workshops
• Experience creating technology roadmaps and assessing technology risks
• Practical end-to-end observability knowledge
• Experience with API Governance
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with Event-Driven architecture
• English proficiency at least B2
• Ability to provide services from within Poland
