Description

You will install, configure, and provide ongoing support for hybrid IT systems, networks, and internal/client software solutions. You will ensure stable administration of M365 services and Active Directory (including user management and permission concepts) while operating the internal datacenter with Windows Server and Linux servers. You will also plan firmware and system updates, support IT security (firewall and VPN), manage backups, and help improve the existing IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, configurations, and day-to-day support for hybrid IT systems, network structures, and software solutions (internal and for customers)

• Administer M365 services and Active Directory, including user management and access/permission concepts

• Maintain stable operation of the internal datacenter with Windows Server and Linux Server systems

• Plan and implement firmware updates and client/server system updates

• Support IT security topics with focus on firewall configuration, VPN access, and protecting networks from unauthorized access

• Organize and manage backup processes using backup solutions

• Contribute to further development of the existing IT infrastructure by proposing improvements and analyzing system optimization opportunities

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) for system integration, IT System Administrator (m/w/d), Kaufmann (m/w/d) for system integration, or a comparable qualification

• Solid knowledge of Windows Server environments and the Microsoft 365 product world

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, plus experience with backup solutions such as Veeam

• Familiarity with virtualization environments such as Hyper-V, Proxmox, ESXi, or Citrix

• Strong self-initiative, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn in a dynamic IT environment

• Reliable German and English skills in speaking and writing
