Description

You’ll support the IT team by monitoring and analyzing security-relevant events, responding to security incidents, and developing preventive protection measures. The role also covers identifying vulnerabilities across networks, servers, applications, and cloud environments, as well as planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Detect and respond to security incidents; develop preventive safeguards

• Monitor, analyze, and assess security-relevant events in the IT infrastructure

• Identify vulnerabilities in networks, servers, applications, and cloud environments

• Plan, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, networks)

• Support and further develop cloud environments

• Collaborate with external security partners and participate in security audits

Requirements

• Completed degree or IT training

• At least 5 years of system administration experience with an IT security focus

• Sound knowledge in analyzing and mitigating cyberattacks and malware

• Experience conducting penetration tests and vulnerability analyses

• CISSP, CISM, or CEH certifications are advantageous

• Strong problem-solving and analytical approach

• Communication skills, teamwork, and high initiative

• German at least C1; English at least B2
