• Role: Business Analyst (banking payments)

• Work mode: Hybrid (3 days/week in Warsaw client office)

Description

You will support development and integration of banking payment services, including SEPA Instant and Verification of Payee (VoP). The work includes defining, analyzing, validating, and documenting business and system requirements, creating business and technical specifications, and supporting test preparation and validation. You will coordinate with IT and business stakeholders and help ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and KIR rules.

Role & Responsibilities

• Define and analyze business requirements for banking service development and integrations

• Propose solution options and define functional and non-functional requirements

• Create and maintain project, business, business-system, and technical documentation

• Analyze regulatory compliance and alignment with KIR requirements

• Agree, analyze, and validate business and system requirements

• Provide business- and technology-oriented solution recommendations

• Create/update product documentation, including internal regulations and client documentation

• Model SEPA Instant payment-handling processes

• Design use cases and test scenarios; participate in testing and validation

• Define and monitor deployment metrics and KPIs

• Manage requirements and documentation quality, consistency, and currency

• Prioritize and support the project team with subject-matter guidance

• Coordinate collaboration among stakeholders (operations, compliance, risk, security, IT, external vendors, correspondent banks)

• Support integration design in line with ISO 20022 (pain, pacs, camt), including API payment integration

• Analyze how collected data can support growth and sales of banking products

• Provide ongoing task reporting

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience in the banking industry

• Last 3 years: creating product documentation (internal regulations and client documentation), preparing requirement documentation for banking service development, and creating business-system specifications across at least 3 projects

• Practical project experience with ISO 20022

• Strong skills in defining, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements

• Experience collaborating with IT teams and business stakeholders

• Knowledge of payment processes and integration of banking systems

• Ability to create use cases and test scenarios and support the testing process

• Higher education

• Very good Polish language skills for smooth communication and documentation
