Description

Application Engineering Manager for Electrification Services (ELSE) leading the U.S. Application Engineering organization supporting Commercial Operations and Sales. You will drive customer-focused technical solutions, ensure high-quality Statements of Work (SOWs) and Job Cost Estimates (JCEs), and continuously improve people, processes, and technology to raise proposal quality and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Application Engineering team by setting expectations, coaching employees, and closing technical skill gaps.
• Provide technical leadership and customer solution support across the ELSE portfolio, including strategic engagements and site assessments.
• Drive proposal excellence and operational effectiveness by ensuring high-quality SOWs and JCEs, improving inquiry-to-order (ITO) processes, and partnering with Commercial Operations.
• Standardize and continuously improve engineering processes using KPI management, solution and estimating libraries, digital tools, automation, and technical training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Electrical Engineering preferred
• 12+ years relevant experience; 7+ years in application or field engineering for power delivery products and systems; 5+ years customer-facing experience in relevant industries
• Experience with proposal development, statement of work creation, and job costing; familiarity with commercial operations processes
• Background in field service, power systems engineering, or industrial electrical services
• Ability and willingness to travel 25% within the U.S.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed technical teams (preferred)
