Description

Lead, develop, and support a regional team of engineering leaders and field-based Power Systems Engineers delivering critical customer services. This manager-of-managers role focuses on strategy, operational excellence, talent development, and owning regional business performance through safe execution, project and sales quote execution, cost control, and P&L responsibility. You will also serve as a liaison to Sales and Marketing to develop customer relationships and generate orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a high-performing team (talent acquisition, coaching, performance management, employee development, retention)
• Ensure efficient project execution, including executing to sales quotes, cost control, leveraging subcontractors, inventory management, and backlog/project turn
• Ensure employee safety in varying customer environments
• Own P&L performance for the assigned territory (forecasting, team utilization oversight, inventory management, and overall sales execution)
• Serve as a product line liaison to Sales and Marketing to build customer relationships and create orders; maintain key customer relationships to generate long-term business
• Identify and drive improvements to the overall Power Systems Engineering business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 7+ years of experience in the electrical industry
• 3+ years leading teams or business operations
• Must comply with Eaton’s safety program and policy
• Ability to develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships
• Must reside within 50 miles of one of the listed locations; no relocation offered (Active-Duty Military exempt from the geographic limitation)
• Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy: current, unrestricted driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (subject to MVR check upon hire)
• No employment immigration sponsorship or support (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, F-1 to H1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 portability, etc.)
