Description

Highly accomplished Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for design, technical deliverables, compliance, testing, and cross-functional technical coordination for electrical and control solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with E&C Global and local engineering standards, and all other relevant industry standards.
  • Participate in development of the Design Basis and contribute to innovative solutions for proposals.
  • Create detailed electrical and control panel drawings for projects.
  • Design and ensure compliant installation of instrumentation and control systems per applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Use global standards to develop robust and efficient electrical designs.
  • Generate high-quality and accurate technical deliverables.
  • Attend and contribute to Design Review meetings.
  • Provide technical guidance and support/training to other departments (projects, production, aftermarket, sales) as needed.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (F.A.T.).
  • Review customer technical documentation and requirements to ensure alignment for successful project delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (minimum).
  • 7–9 years proven expertise designing electrical schematics, control panels, and instrumentation & controls systems.
  • 3+ years experience in Turbo-Expander or Pump System Engineering/Manufacturing environment (rotating equipment) preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for coordination across Projects, Proposals, Estimation, Sales, and Process & Systems.
  • Ability to produce technical reports supported by data and references.
  • Strong understanding of equipment and instrumentation used in cryogenic plants.
  • Very good knowledge in PLC and LabVIEW.
  • Experience in electrical instrumentation and controls.
  • Experience with SolidWorks.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make independent decisions.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes: CSA, IEC, NEC, KCS, CE.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, operate independently, and work partly from home.
  • Short-term local or international travel may be required.
