Description

This part-time night role coordinates the Guest Relations team and valet/guest services operations to ensure excellent service for patients, healthcare team members, and hospital guests. You will orient and train teammates and volunteers, respond to customer service needs and complaints, provide directions and assistance, and support emergency response as directed. You will also collect data, document outcomes, and submit required statistical reports.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assigned teammates’ activities

  • Orient new teammates and provide ongoing training and assessment

  • Train volunteers as appropriate

  • Participate in regular staff meetings and huddles

  • Receive, direct, and provide courteous, professional information

  • Respond to patient and guest complaints

  • Provide assistance and directions throughout the facility

  • Assist families in understanding hospital/department policies

  • Respond to emergency, crisis, and disaster situations

  • Collect data and documentation to improve customer service

  • Facilitate improved customer service by escalating/directing concerns and compliments

  • Accurately record and submit all documentation/statistical reports

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Basic Life Support Certification

  • Annual Defensive Driving course

  • Ability to type 60 words per minute

  • Computer proficiency

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods; move throughout a building/assigned area; occasionally bend and push wheelchairs

  • Ability to hear well and speak clearly
