Description

Hands-on, hospital-based HR Manager role serving as the primary HR presence on site. You will coordinate day-to-day HR operations, partner with HR Shared Services for payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration, and act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level across the employee lifecycle

  • Partner with HR Shared Services to deliver support in payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration

  • Provide HR guidance and service for employees and leaders

  • Coordinate and support accurate payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity

  • Drive and support talent acquisition efforts (hiring coordination, onboarding, workforce planning support)

  • Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards

  • Serve as local subject matter expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes

  • Support employee relations with professionalism, discretion, and consistency

  • Help build and sustain a positive, high-performing workplace culture

  • Contribute insights to shape HR strategy and operational effectiveness at the hospital level

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or a combination of education and experience required

  • Two or more years of experience in Human Resources

  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite and computer applications relating to Human Resources functions

  • Detail-oriented with expertise in problem solving, observation, group dynamics, and interpersonal relations
