Description

DevSecOps Engineer will implement cybersecurity practices directly across the software development and deployment lifecycle. The role focuses on automating security controls in CI/CD and hardening cloud and container environments while bridging development, security, and IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate automated vulnerability scanning into CI/CD build pipelines (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy)

  • Implement automated security testing: SAST, DAST, and SCA to identify issues before production

  • Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using secure Terraform Infrastructure as Code

  • Harden containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

  • Define security policies and run automated compliance checks (e.g., GDPR/RODO)

  • Promote a security as code culture by training developers in secure coding practices

  • Implement and manage system monitoring solutions to ensure high availability, optimize performance, and enable early detection of security or operational issues

  • (Optional) Use Ansible to automate infrastructure delivery, configuration management, and secure deployment

Requirements

  • Experience integrating vulnerability scanning into CI/CD

  • Practical knowledge of SAST, DAST, and SCA

  • Strong Terraform/IaC experience for cloud security across AWS/Azure/GCP

  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes and cloud-native security approaches

  • Ability to model threats and support automated compliance checks (e.g., GDPR/RODO)

  • Programming/scripting proficiency (Python, Go, or Bash)

  • Ability to implement monitoring solutions

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across development and security teams

  • Familiarity with certification paths (e.g., AWS Certified Security, CISSP)

  • Very good English proficiency

  • Basic Ansible knowledge (optional)
