Description

Design and build secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures with cross-functional teams and customers. You will enable automated, auditable deployments and rollouts using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management, and operate solutions using observability, security hardening, and cost/resource management. You will also stay current with DevOps and cloud engineering and share knowledge through communities.

Responsibilities

  • Create individual cloud architectures for high-quality, sustainable software solutions with interdisciplinary teams and customers

  • Collaborate with developers and operators to automate deployments and rollouts, enabling auditability (e.g., IaC, configuration management tools, reusable deployment patterns)

  • Enable reliable, secure, and cost-efficient operations using observability tooling, hardening measures, and cost/resource management

  • Stay up to date on DevOps and cloud engineering developments; promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing via communities of practice and conferences

  • Support technical sales with your domain expertise

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable education

  • Very good German and English skills (C1) for clear communication with the team and partners

  • Practical experience in the described responsibilities; strategic use of cloud-DevOps ecosystem technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, GitLab)

  • Strong software development experience with an implementation-driven understanding of architectures; focus on security, observability, and cost efficiency

  • DevOps mindset as culture and continuous improvement (participation in communities of practice and conferences)

  • Cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, StackIT) are an advantage
