Role: SAP IS-U ABAP Developer & SAP Process Manager; job sharing is possible. You will support energy-industry core processes in SAP IS-U, including master data, switching processes, and market communication, with an outlook toward S/4HANA Utilities.

Description

Design, implement, and enhance utilities market communication processes based on SAP Common Layer and the case-management framework (BPEM/EMMA). Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements—especially BNetzA requirements—are addressed, while owning high-performance mass data processing and supporting operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend process flows using SAP Common Layer and BPEM/EMMA case-management.
• Maintain a strong focus on legal and regulatory constraints from BNetzA.
• Adjust the process framework via Customizing, and implement business checks and technical enhancements.
• Ensure performant mass data processing so market processes complete on time and without errors.
• Cover the full IT lifecycle for market communication processes: requirements intake and analysis, technical design and implementation, and production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and coordinate with external IT service providers.
• Contribute to internal and cross-group projects and working groups to support the transformation toward S/4HANA Utilities.

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable IT training or experience in IT/partner interface roles.
• Secure knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO development, including debugging and SAP extension techniques.
• Ideally: deep knowledge of the IDEX environment, SAP Common Layer, and BPEM-based case management.
• Interest in the energy transition and in the IT implementation/digitalization of energy-sector processes, with prior experience.
• Ability to work in a balanced mix of application support, Customizing, SAP development, and business-area support.
• Strong skills in targeted collaboration with different departments, colleagues, and vendors.
• Mindset focused on economically sustainable solutions, plus willingness to share knowledge within the team.
