Description

You will develop and optimize end-to-end processes in the SAP S/4 Service environment, especially for maintenance and service execution. The role includes building ABAP/ABAP OO applications, creating CDS Views and OData services, and shaping SAPUI5/Fiori interfaces to improve user experience. You will also handle integration and ensure stable, performant data exchange with adjacent SAP modules.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and refine end-to-end processes in the SAP S/4 Service environment with domain focus on maintenance and service processing

  • Develop and extend applications using ABAP and ABAP OO, including classic enhancements, BAdIs, and user-exits, as well as CDS Views and OData services

  • Design modern user interfaces with SAPUI5 and Fiori for service processes such as order processing, confirmations, and mobile assignments

  • Own integration with adjacent systems/modules (e.g., MM and PM) and ensure reliable, high-performance data exchange

  • Contribute ideas and continuously improve the service platform using modern technologies (SAP BTP, Fiori)

  • Take responsibility for S/4 Service solutions and act as a sparring partner for architecture and design decisions

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training with SAP focus or a degree in (business) informatics or comparable SAP-focused qualification

  • Several years of SAP development experience with focus on ABAP and ABAP OO

  • Knowledge in SAP service processing (e.g., commissioning, billing)

  • Experience with CDS Views and OData; ideally SAPUI5/Fiori

  • Understanding of how to model technical service processes in SAP

  • Experience integrating SAP modules (e.g., MM, PM) is beneficial but not mandatory

  • Independent, structured working style and teamwork mindset

  • Good German language skills
