Description

You will monitor, analyze, and evaluate security-relevant events across the IT infrastructure, identify vulnerabilities and threats, and help develop preventive protection measures. You will contribute to planning, implementation, and maintenance of server and network infrastructure and support the continuous development of cloud environments. Collaboration with external security partners and participation in security audits are part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Detect and combat security incidents and develop preventive protective measures

• Monitor, analyze, and assess security-relevant events across the IT infrastructure

• Identify vulnerabilities and threats in networks, servers, applications, and cloud environments

• Assist in planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks)

• Manage and further develop cloud environments

• Collaborate with external security partners and participate in security audits

Requirements

• Completed IT degree or IT vocational training

• At least 5 years of experience as a system administrator with a focus on IT security

• Solid knowledge of analyzing and defending against cyberattacks and malware

• Experience conducting penetration tests and vulnerability analyses

• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical approach

• Strong communication skills, collegial team spirit, and high self-initiative

• German proficiency: at least C1; English proficiency: at least B2 (written and spoken)
