Description

You will help run and secure critical systems and cloud services, supporting a modernization of the IT landscape and the migration from on-premise to Azure Cloud. The role emphasizes patch, vulnerability, and incident management with early detection, assessment, and prioritization of security risks. You will also monitor services proactively, resolve complex 2nd/3rd level issues, and support documentation and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT projects and drive digital transformation, including moving on-premise systems to Azure Cloud

• Ensure stable, secure, high-performance operation of cloud platforms, server infrastructure, and business applications; plan and implement updates, releases, changes, and extensions

• Implement and continuously improve IT security measures; ensure adherence to internal security policies and regulatory requirements (especially patch/vulnerability management and NIS2)

• Proactively monitor cloud services, systems, applications, and interfaces; analyze performance bottlenecks and security risks; remediate complex 2nd/3rd level incidents

• Support selection, rollout, and operation of business applications and optimize them continuously

• Create technical documentation and perform structured knowledge transfer within the IT team

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualification as IT application support/manager or system administrator

• Experience operating and introducing critical applications and systems in an enterprise or IT service provider setting

• Practical experience administering cloud services

• Knowledge of IT security standards/frameworks such as ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, and NIS2

• Practical experience with patch, vulnerability, and incident management; ability to recognize, evaluate, and prioritize security risks

• Structured, independent, service-oriented work style and strong communication/team skills
