Description

You will design, implement, and operate a modern security infrastructure in a cloud environment and translate regulatory requirements into workable technical and operational measures for secure IT in the financial sector. You will maintain and improve central security systems, including logging, log analysis, SIEM, resource monitoring, and IDS/IPS, and drive systematic vulnerability management and continuous improvement of security controls. The role also includes coordinating security assessments with relevant stakeholders and producing Security Reports based on defined security KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Conception, implementation, and operation of a modern security infrastructure in the cloud environment

  • Administration and continuous improvement of central security systems: logging, log analysis, SIEM, resource monitoring, IDS/IPS

  • Implementation of regulatory requirements for secure IT operations in the financial sector through effective technical and operational measures

  • Build and manage systematic vulnerability management for ongoing system monitoring and early detection of anomalies and suspicious activity

  • Regular review and further development of the security infrastructure and audit/control mechanisms

  • Organize, accompany, and evaluate security audits to improve the security posture

  • Coordinate with stakeholders (ISB, system and application administrators) on security policies and hardening measures

  • Define security-relevant KPIs and create informative Security Reports on technical IT security status

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification

  • Solid knowledge in administration and securing Linux and Windows server systems as well as networks

  • Practical experience conducting and evaluating technical security tests (pen tests)

  • Confident use of relevant analysis tools for assessing system/network security

  • Good knowledge of current market-standard tools and methods in information security

  • Fast comprehension and strong analytical skills

  • Open, receiver-oriented communication

  • Willingness for continuous professional development and quick onboarding into new topics
