Description

Support the operation and further development of an organization’s IT infrastructure. You will manage IT service requests, incidents, and new requirements, administer Windows and Linux server environments (including applications), and help expand monitoring and firewall administration. Documentation for the IT landscape is also part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process service requests, incidents, problems, and new requirements
• Reinstall, operate, and maintain server operating systems and the applications used
• Develop and administer the international IT infrastructure
• Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations
• Expand IT system monitoring
• Administer and monitor firewall systems
• Create and maintain documentation

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable IT qualification
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
• Knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux server environments
• Experience with current virtualization and cloud technologies
• Practical experience with ticketing systems and IT service processes
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German and English written and spoken communication
• Strong customer/service orientation, communication skills, and teamwork
