Description

You will play a central role in running and further developing platform and cloud environments and help shape the platform strategy with your team. The work centers on ensuring platform availability, stability, security, performance, and scalability, supported by CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and observability. You will also analyze and resolve incidents and contribute to modernization of a scalable platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Operate, administer, and improve hosting and cloud environments, including Linux production systems
• Ensure availability, stability, security, performance, and scalability of the platform
• Build, operate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure-as-Code approaches
• Own monitoring, logging, alerting, and continuously develop observability capabilities
• Analyze and resolve incidents; support root-cause analyses and lasting quality improvements
• Help design a modern, scalable platform architecture, including standardization and step-by-step modernization (e.g., containerization)
• Contribute to backup and disaster recovery concepts, security and compliance standards, and collaborate with Dev teams in architecture and decision processes

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Platform, DevOps, or Operations engineering
• Very good knowledge of operating Linux systems
• Experience with hosting and cloud environments (e.g., Hetzner, AWS, Azure)
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Experience operating business-critical systems
