Senior DevOps (GPC) full remote

We are looking for a Principal/ Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to join our growing Platform Engineering team.In this role, you will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. You will play a key role in shaping our cloud architecture, improving reliability, and driving automation across the organization.Technology stack:Google Cloud Platform (GCP)GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud RunTerraform (Infrastructure as Code)Kubernetes, HelmCI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)Observability stack (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)BigQueryResponsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP using TerraformOperate and optimize Kubernetes clusters (GKE) with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and securityBuild and evolve observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces, alerting)Manage and optimize GCP native services and cost efficiencyAutomate infrastructure and operational processes to improve resilience and reduce manual effortDefine and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards (modules, state management, CI/CD integration)Collaborate with development teams on architecture, performance, and deployment strategiesParticipate in incident response, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in a periodic on-call rotation Requirements:8+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud EngineeringHands-on experience running Kubernetes in production environments(networking, RBAC, scaling, Helm deployments)Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practicesPractical experience with GCP services (GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run)Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentalsExperience working with CI/CD pipelinesStrong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teamsExperience supporting cloud-based applications in production environmentsNice to have:Experience with AWSExperience with CloudflareExperience with GitLabFamiliarity with SonarQubeExperience with security tooling and compliance (e.g., IAM, vulnerability management)What We Offer:Vacation days: Up to 26 days per year.Health and life insurance Up to 30 days of sick leaveBirthday day offSport cardsFlexible workplace: work from the office, from home, or choose a hybrid optionReal impact on architecture and technology decisions
