Description

You will work on challenging IT projects end-to-end—from initial design through rollout to stable production operations. The role focuses on administering and continuously improving Linux-based environments and containerized microservices, building and operating CI/CD pipelines, and integrating AI-assisted engineering in DevOps processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and evolve Linux-based environments, microservices, and web applications
• Configure DevOps pipelines with CI/CD for reliable build, test, and delivery
• Implement and run Docker-based environments for scalable, standardized applications
• Operate AI-assisted engineering workflows (e.g., Claude Code) and contribute to LLMOps platforms for enterprise Large Language Model operations
• Provide 3rd-level support for complex system landscapes, including root-cause analysis and remediation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements, including IT security and operating concepts

Requirements

• 3+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, Configuration Management, or Platform Engineering
• Strong DevOps platform knowledge, especially GitLab
• Experience with application operations and automated deployments
• Proven Kubernetes and/or OpenShift 4 experience, including enterprise cluster administration
• Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS and/or GCP
• CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., Jenkins or GitLab CI)
• Infrastructure as Code and scripting experience (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Shell, Go, Python)
• Container experience with Docker
• Monitoring/observability experience (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic, Splunk, Opsgenie)
• Security experience (e.g., BSI IT-Grundschutz, Zero Trust, secret management, Identity & Access via LDAP/SAML/OIDC/OAuth2)
• Ability to handle incidents and communicate during crises
• German and English at C1/C2; living in Germany
