Description

Build, operate, and further develop an OpenStack-based cloud platform while actively shaping the cloud roadmap. You will automate infrastructure and deployment with Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines, administer key OpenStack services, and handle complex 2nd/3rd level incidents.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the cloud roadmap and bring ideas for platform growth
• Build, operate, and evolve an OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Administer core OpenStack components: Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance; manage patching
• Operate and further develop storage and monitoring solutions for the platform
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents at the 2nd/3rd level
• Evaluate new open-source technologies for platform development

Requirements

• Completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or IT/computer science degree with relevant Cloud Engineering experience
• Independent experience designing and implementing complex concepts using DevOps tooling (Ansible, Git, CI/CD pipelines)
• Strong Linux command-line administration skills (Ubuntu, Debian, or RHEL)
• Experience with OpenStack; networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching) are a plus
• Certifications such as Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA), LFCS, or RHCE are a plus
• Fluent German (spoken and written)
