Description

You will take ownership of reliable, scalable production operations and help evolve a Kubernetes-based platform with strong platform thinking and automation. The role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and observability, plus incident response and continuous optimization of reliability, performance, cost, and security.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability and uptime of production systems (Kubernetes, networks, storage)
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and similar tools
• Operate and evolve monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Cribl.io
• Respond to incidents and conduct root cause analysis in high-availability environments
• Contribute to self-service platforms and GitOps-based workflows
• Continuously optimize infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security
• Collaborate with SRE and DevOps colleagues across teams
• Participate in migrations and modernizations (e.g., VMware to Nutanix, Fortigate to Palo Alto, and IaC initiatives)

Requirements

• German language proficiency at least B2 (written and spoken)
• Several years of experience in infrastructure operations and systems engineering
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and modern DevOps tooling
• Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and monitoring stacks
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, OVH, gcore, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving mindset and desire to automate
• Ideally, coding experience in Golang or Python
