Description

Lead Agile-oriented planning and execution for defined feature sets while managing and guiding the development team across the software development life cycle (SDLC). Provide technical leadership across the tech stack, coordinate with other product teams to deliver results to market, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Plan product release rollouts, including documentation and training/support for Demo and other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Agile-oriented project planning and execution for defined feature sets
  • Manage the development team and staff
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance across all areas of the tech stack
  • Present project work and progress transparently to stakeholders using stakeholder-relevant formats
  • Collaborate with other product teams to deliver results to market
  • Plan and execute successful product release rollouts (documentation, education, and support/training)
  • Manage the team through research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance
  • Deliver departmental goals and timelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or comparable work experience
  • At least 5 years of software development experience (ERP system experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of database structure and design
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development practices, computer science theory, and relevant technologies
  • Understanding of the development process
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Experience providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  • Strong negotiation skills to balance enhancement needs with business constraints
  • Logical thinking and reasoning skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Project Management and/or Agile Project Management experience
  • Experience with Agile development methods and practices
  • Proven ability to deliver in-depth solutions for competing stakeholder requirements under expedited timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (active listening, presentation, analytical/problem-solving)
  • Proven ability to collaborate across team or division boundaries
