Description

Plan and control quality deliverables and project schedules while ensuring released software complies with quality standards and customer requirements. Manage QA resources and budgets, develop team capabilities, and drive continuous improvement through risk management, defect tracking, and process compliance (including ASPICE Level 2). Represent quality leadership in customer communication when required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and control quality deliverables and project schedules
  • Assign Software Quality leaders and engineers; manage project staffing and workload
  • Manage cost center budgets and resource planning using RAIDA
  • Ensure all releases meet quality standards and customer requirements
  • Develop team capabilities through training, mentoring, and capability planning
  • Lead engineering team execution: workforce planning, task execution, prioritization, and adaptation to changing needs
  • Coordinate sampling plans to maximize audit coverage
  • Use QA tools for risk and defect management; review and prioritize risks/issues
  • Monitor project execution and performance metrics; implement corrective actions
  • Track resolution of critical defects and testing issues; provide status reporting
  • Monitor ASPICE Level 2 achievement and plan assessments in advance
  • Drive continuous improvement using data and analytics
  • Lead SUP.1 process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure a minimum of 40 training hours per employee annually

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Previous automotive industry experience
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration; integrity and professionalism
  • Structured, methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to travel as required and flexibility regarding working hours
  • Experience in electronic product design (systems and software development)
  • DFMEA/PFMEA experience
  • Functional safety knowledge
  • Cross-functional enterprise collaboration
  • Ability to challenge technical analyses from engineering teams or suppliers
  • Customer-facing experience presenting solutions and improvement plans
  • In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and automotive quality systems
