Description

You will join a Growth Data Science team focused on user growth forecasting, partnering with Product, Finance, and Strategy to continuously improve forecasting capabilities. The role delivers trustworthy, business-critical quarterly forecasts and drives methodological improvements grounded in user-growth dynamics across the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Join a small team of data scientists focused on user growth forecasting

• Collaborate with peers and mentor junior data scientists to keep forecasts trustworthy and reliably delivered

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to build forecasts reflecting product “big bets” and evolving business strategy

• Translate complex analytical findings into clear narratives for senior leadership and partners

• Influence strategic decisions using technical depth and effective communication

• Develop and validate methodological advances aligned to business priorities

• Build robust, repeatable systems and processes for forecasting

Requirements

• Applied industry experience building forecasts in messy real-world settings where assumptions and confounds matter

• Graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated expertise in formal analytical techniques

• Demonstrated ability to connect technical results to real-world recommendations and translate product/business changes into technical requirements

• Strong command of SQL, Python, AI analysis tools, and data/analytics engineering ecosystems

• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) to distill complex quantitative work into clear, actionable insights

Benefits

• Base salary range: $182,800–$247,300 USD; supplemented by equity compensation
