Description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will use advanced analytics to solve complex business challenges across the value chain. You will design, develop, and validate statistical and machine learning models, partnering with stakeholders across Strategy & Innovation, R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial to deliver data-driven solutions. Focus areas include pipeline acceleration, manufacturing excellence, sales effectiveness, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end statistical and machine learning models (from data exploration through final analysis)
• Analyze large datasets to extract insights and optimize decisions using operations research concepts
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business challenges into data science frameworks
• Generate actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders
• Present results using data visualization and clear communication
• Collaborate on deployment with Data, AI and ML Engineers to integrate models into business processes
• Research and apply new machine learning, statistics, and AI methodologies
• Educate and mentor colleagues to promote a data-driven culture

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related
• 12+ years of experience in Data Science or relevant work
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, including expertise with data manipulation and machine learning libraries
• Deep understanding of statistical principles and experimental design (hypothesis testing, regression, classification)
• Proven experience applying machine learning techniques such as gradient boosting, clustering, NLP, and time-series forecasting
• Expertise in data visualization and ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences
