Description

You will coordinate vehicle testing activities, manage defects end-to-end across their lifecycle, and support validation and quality processes. The position includes leading defect-resolution meetings, creating and tracking defect tickets until corrective actions are verified and closed, and providing clear reporting on quality and test progress. You will work closely with international development teams to ensure transparent problem solving and product readiness.

Responsibilities

Defect Management

• Prepare, organize, lead, and document defect-resolution meetings
• Track each defect until corrective actions are approved
• Manage defects through the full lifecycle: defect documentation, ticket creation, coordination of corrective actions, verification of implemented solutions, and ticket closure

Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare defect reports and statistics
• Analyze trends and identify improvement opportunities
• Provide transparent reporting on quality status and product readiness level

Test Management

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor test activities
• Prepare regular reports on test progress
• Ensure transparency in the test process and address open issues
• Support project management in assessing milestones and project quality

Requirements

• Technical university degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
• Good knowledge of vehicle design and automotive development/validation processes
• Experience with defect management and ticketing systems
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Advanced MS Office skills and experience with common test and documentation tools
• German: communicative to fluent
• English: good proficiency in speaking and writing
