Description

You will support test activities for a core system and related channel applications, from defining test strategy and plans to executing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing. You will design automated tests across multiple layers (unit, integration, API, UI, end-to-end), maintain test frameworks, and integrate automated runs with CI/CD. You will manage the test lifecycle (schedule, defects, results analysis) and provide Go/No-Go input for releases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Test Strategy and Test Plan

• Define test scope, Test Approach, and entry/exit criteria

• Analyze business and technical requirements for test preparation and execution

• Plan testing activities and estimate testing effort

• Manage test schedule and project dependencies

• Create and maintain Test Cases and Test Scenarios; ensure test coverage for key functionalities and business processes

• Design automated tests (Unit, Integration, API, UI, End-to-End)

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and acceptance tests (UAT)

• Test UI/UX compliance with requirements

• Build, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks

• Integrate tests with CI/CD for automatic execution

• Maintain and refactor existing automated tests; manage flaky tests

• Manage defect lifecycle (reporting, triage, prioritization), perform retests, and analyze root causes

• Identify quality risks and recommend corrective actions

• Collaborate with developers on code quality and Shift-Left Testing

• Document test results and prepare quality reports

• Report testing status and QA metrics (KPIs/quality metrics)

• Support release processes by assessing readiness and recommending Go/No-Go

• Work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure solution quality

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Tester

• Programming experience (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and knowledge of test automation patterns

• Understanding of quality processes and ability to collaborate in Agile teams

• Communication skills

• Test frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST Assured

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI
